About Bob-Leon Plastics
After returning home from serving in the Korean War, Bob Cronin opened up a cabinet shop called Sacramento Cabinet Supply. Bob built cabinets and his wife Ruth Cronin ran the office with much success and growth. Adding a countertop division as well as a laminate distributor, the business grew, Bob and Ruth added a partner, Leon Eggleston, and in 1963, Bob-Leon Plastics was officially born. As the business continued to grow in the direction of laminate and countertops, the business changed as well as the location. In 1972 we dropped our cabinet division and moved up the block to our current location. Adding Corian solid surface to the product line in 1975, we became one of the first shops in Sacramento to be Certified in Corian and subsequently all other brands of solid surface.
In 2003, in order to make our company’s associations simple for our customers, we retired the name Sacramento Cabinet Supply, leaving it as Bob-Leon Plastics, Inc. and renaming our countertop division Bob-Leon Counters to pay homage to our founding fathers and our history, yet welcoming a new generation of staff and customers.
Our current personnel includes second and third generation of Cronin’s as our founding owner Ruth Cronin only recently retired after 60 years a leader and a pioneer in this field of construction. We are so proud that our staff combined has close to 200 years of collectively working here at Bob-Leon. This plus our mission to give the best service and products available is why you’ll find no better company to trust your home or commercial projects too.
